Angie Primus, RN, BSN, has been in the health field for 3 decades. She worked in the Trauma Operating Room as well as Ambulatory Surgery and Community Health Centers. Her love for Nursing and caring for individuals at their most vulnerable time coupled with what she saw as a crisis with our healthcare system sparked a flame. She knew she can make a difference in the lives of those who are often times not seen or heard.
A 1 Advocacy Group was formed in 2015 to advocate for quality of care and to help individuals navigate the healthcare system.
Angie's passion is working with the elderly and those facing acute health issues and do not have a support system in place. Her expertise is dealing with medical practices and hospitals, pharmacies and insurance companies to ensure the plan of care is carried out successfully and that everyone is on the same page. She is knowledgeable about the dynamics and landscape of our healthcare system without a doubt!
Angie advocated for her husband for several years while he battled kidney failure before he died in 2019. When she is not advocating for her clients she is spending time with her 2 boys, teaching fitness classes, and giving back to her community by volunteering in outreach efforts!
